Keggy Mixed Moto Jacket

Keggy Mixed Moto Jacket

The Keggy Girl is never afraid to switch gears into fall.  Keggy rides the season’s moto trend with a bright orange silhouette.  Leave a trail of envy with this two-toned jacket that steers clear of the ordinary.  Tangerine and midnight enameled buttons set off a flash of metal on the paneled bodice.  Keggy is in good company with the likes of L.A.M.B. and Elizabeth and James, each offering their own version of the orange biker jacket featuring zip front enclosures against poppy threads.  Be the leader of the pack in Keggy’s new cropped coat!

The Keggy Girl – Now and Forever

Fall 2014-Forever

Who is the Keggy Girl? The Keggy Girl is demure, though not dainty. She is one to swap sweaters with friends and shop online for vintage consignment. She wears pink if the mood suits her and is not afraid to be just plain pretty. Her closet houses a full spectrum of denim washes and a climbing height of heels. The Keggy Girl loves a good bargain and enjoys the chase for designer steals. She splurges on the one in a million pieces that will stay with her forever.

Olivia Holt- February/March Girl’s Life Covergirl!

Disney star Olivia Holt graces the cover of the February/March issue of Girl’s Life in a hot pink number that is perfect for any date night.  Holt hastily approaches A-lister celebrity GL coverstatus as she joins the company of recent GL covergirls such as Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.  The sixteen year old all-American actress and singer from Tennessee is most famous for her roles on Kickin’ It and the Disney original movie, Girl vs. Monster.

Holt’s new show, I Didn’t Do It, premiered on January 17. Nostalgic Lizzie McGuire and Hannah Montana fans will instantly connect with the similar comedic teen rebellion show that displays the challenges of growing up with humor that reminds us all not to take ourselves too seriously. Although we will miss Holt on the fourth season of Kickin’ It, we look forward to seeing the development of her character as Lindy on I Didn’t Do It, as she is immersed in the company of female   friends.

GL gives its readers the behind-the-scenes vantage of its cover shoot, offering a glimpse of the real Holt beyond the camera.  Holt reveals that her favorite go-to trend of the season is brightly colored accessories, and this issue of GL features an Adventures and Wonderlan spread that has its share of bold baubles, belts and bows. Keggy’s multi-colored basket weave belt is paired with pearls to complete the Free Bird look of a fringed kimono, shimmering top and tailored pants. Hand-illustrated drawings provide the backdrop for the feature’s “spring’s land of enchantment, where ladylike and tomboy go hand in hand.”

3. The Plaid Scarf: Fold, twist, tuck or loop. Define your style with the tie of an ascot knot or the simple drape of a woven scarf under your banker’s overcoat. Burberry offers a new take on an old standby with an exaggerated plaid scarf in sapphire and grey. This cashmere scarf retails at $490. Drake’s vintage cashmere check in navy, green and gold is a more accessible option for £195.00.

Paul Smith’s royal purple and blue, color-blocked belt is one of our favorites, retailing at $225.  Visit Keggy for a less pricey version and obtain a virtual, style steal with this navy belt with deep plum trim for only $156.

5. The Calling Card: Business cards are the latest must-have accessory for men this fall. Leave your personal mark behind in the business world with a fashionable calling card. Since 1878, Dempsey & Carroll has been the go-to company for the finest in engraved social stationary. For a collection of 500, these high-end business cards can reach upwards of $900. Almanac Industries offers a more affordable option while retaining the old world style of printing. Almanac runs a hand-fed press that’s circa 1930, creating a de-bossed type with a tactile feel. The same quantity of cotton paper letter press cards are available for $450.
